Everyone agrees that all stages of a child’s education are invaluable – whether they are learning to count or solving a year six maths question. Yet early childhood educators are paid a 1/3 less than those formally teaching and caring for children just a few
years older.

A responsible government that values every child would value every educator. It is time for our wages to reflect the essential role we have in shaping the future, one child at a time.

On Saturday 27th February, Educators right across Australia — in Darwin, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth, Canberra, Hobart and here in Qld (Cairns and Brisbane) will knock on thousands of doors of local families to tell their story and ask the community to call upon the Federal Government to fund professional wages.
