Labour Day Across The State

Rain didn't deter thousands of Queenslanders from turning out to state-wide Labour Day celebrations. Despite record-rain in various parts of the State on Friday, most Labour Day celebrations went ahead as planned across most regional centres and in Brisbane. United Voice members came out in force to cheer their union, chant and show that they are proud to be union members. In Brisbane, United Voice even took out the Best Contingent Trophy (joint winners with the ETU) for gettting into the swing of things. Thanks to all members who came along over the weekend to celebrate Labour Day, we look forward to doing it all again in 2016.
