Reforming Labor

Over 300 members have already signed on to have their say on reforming Labor and the role United Voice should play. These responses were compiled into a formal submission, and presented to George Wright, Labor's National Secretary and State Election Review chair. The full submission can be viewed here.

Now is an opportunity for those who took part to give feedback on the surveys and the submission. It's also a chance for those who weren't sure the first time, or who missed the opportunity, to sign on to be part of United Voice's program to reform Labor.

Also, almost two thirds of members said they were interested in having a group of United Voice members involved in the Labor Party, to campaign inside the party on issues that matter to us. So our program will allow members to have their say on where to from here for Labor and to start campaigning on our issues within the ALP.

Later this month Labor's State Election Review will hand down its report and recommendations and we will then launch our first campaign, to ensure that the views of United Voice members have been heard and that the reform you wanted to see really does happen.

Would you like to be part of United Voice's program to give members a say in reforming the Labor Party and to campaign inside the party on issues that matter to us?
