Casino workers at Star Gold Coast are now benefiting from a new Enterprise Bargaining Agreement that recently took effect.
Thanks to the fantastic work by United Voice delegates and members, Star Gold Coast workers are now set to receive a 12% pay rise over the life of the agreement, a minimum of 32 hours per fortnight for part-timers, and measures to secure casuals and part-timers more permanent, full-time jobs.
Other key wins include an increase from six to 10 weeks of paid parental leave and five days of paid domestic violence leave.
After a lot of hard work fighting for these wins last year, it’s great to see the results kicking in.
It shows what union members can achieve when they stand up for jobs they can count on.
