MINISTER ANNOUNCES BOOST TO AMBULANCE NUMBERS

The Health and Ambulance Minister Steven Miles has announced funding that will see an increase in an extra 100 paramedics in place across Queensland.

This is a welcomed announcement and a step in the right direction to help reduce the growing burden on paramedics as regions continue to grow in population and the strain on ambulance and health services increase.

United Voice will continue to put pressure on the government as part of the CodeOne Campaign plan to grow resources, as far more needs to be done to ensure all ambulance officers have the capacity to reach and treat all Queenslanders in need.
