As reported in bulletins in 2018, the Qld Government has undertaken a project to move QAS Pay Roll from the Lattice system to the Whole of Government Aurion platform.
The project is coming to finalisation and the first pay run on the new system will roll out for pay received mid-March 2019. The State Government Ministers responsible for overseeing the transition to the new system have ensured that United Voice has been briefed each step of the way and have had information available in regards to testing of the new system and the status of the project. There have been times where particular testing regimes have been necessary to ensure the integrity of the new system and that any variances identified during that testing have been addressed.
Both Minister de Brenni and Minister Miles supported these layers of testing be undertaken, working closely with QAS representatives and United Voice to ensure the two key stakeholders were appropriately consulted with and listened to regarding key pressure points.
Briefing sessions are being held at LASN level by QAS regarding what to expect and information fact sheets and memos have been distributed to ensure employees are aware of the upcoming change.
Employees shouldn’t notice much difference in their pay advices under the new system as they have been designed to align with the current format. There will be no change in regard to how information is entered on eTimesheets. If you do need assistance once the new system rolls out, your first port of call should be your OIC and if necessary LASN office to have any queries addressed around the new system.
