The Ambulance State Council met recently to tackle the many pressing issues facing Ambulance Officers. Minister Cameron Dick and Commissioner Bowles separately addressed and listened to State Council. The key issues covered at the State Council were: Minister to start delivering on Code One. Rain didn't deter thousands of Queenslanders from turning out to state-wide Labour Day celebrations. Despite record-rain in various parts of the State on Friday, most Labour Day celebrations went ahead as planned across most regional centres and in Brisbane. United Voice members came out in force to cheer their union, chant and show that they are proud to be union members. In Brisbane, United Voice even took out the Best Contingent Trophy (joint winners with the ETU) for gettting into the swing of things.
